Kingsmead Day Nursery was opened on 3rd September 1989 and is approximately two minutes walk from the city centre. There is easy access to the M23 and M27 motorways.
The nursery has a good size garden, which is designed and well equipped to enhance children's learning and development, There is a combination of grass and rubber surfaces and a tarmac area suitable for ride-on toys. The garden is secured by high-level fencing and can only be accessed through the nursery.
Security is paramount at the Kingsmead. There is a video link entry system to ensure that every visitor is vetted thoroughly before being allowed entry.
